THE CONTINENTAL
Aut viam inveniam, aut faciam.
John Wick!AU
John Wick is a neo-noir crime action movie about a legendary assassin and his seek for vengeance. He's tied to an assassin organization called "The Continental" which was tied to a council of crime lords called "The High Table." In simpler words, imagine The Continental as a sport club in your school and The High Table as the school
This AU project was aimed to imitate the universe John Wick movies took place. It's basically an underworld of crime and assassination, probably your typical Crime!AU. But the fun part would be the organizations and complicated hierarchy tangling in John Wick!Universe.

THE HIGH TABLE
The High Table is a council comprising of 12 seats, occupied by the crime lords, sometimes coming from a mafia family. The High Table has branches all around the world
and ties with a lot of independent crime organizations, such as The Continental. The High Table is strict with their rules and will not hesitate to kill those who break one.
Some important members of The High Table that were mentioned in the movies were:
The Director
The Adjudicator
The Elder
The Administrator
Each was a representative of The High Table holding different roles.
What is most important to know is: nothing stands above the Table.
Markers, Gold Coin, Deconsentration, and Excommunicado
John Wick movies used their own terms in their underworld network of crime.
MARKERS is a round metal object which serves as a blood oath between two person. When I seeked for your help and created a blood pact for that, you had to help me no matter what. After so, I was tied to pay back to you as the bearer of my marker that I would also help you no matter what when you needed me.
GOLD COIN is the currency used to pay for the crime. No paper trails, guaranteed anonymous and safety. It's like a traditional bitcoin.
DECONSENTRATED meant un-neutralized. The Continental ground was a neutral ground where no crime transaction, no fighting, no killing was allowed to occur. It's like, a safe place. When it was deconsentrated (in the movie John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum), it meant that killing and transaction was allowed again.
EXCOMMUNICADO was a status given by The High Table which meant that you were a marked man out for hunt and whoever could kill you would be granted money prize. In Chapter 3, John Wick was an excommunicado after breaking the rules by killing a member in The Continental, which was a neutral ground. As a result, he was hunted by all the criminals tied to The High Table for a staggering $14M.
You have served, you will be of service was a saying indicating that The High Table requested you to do something. And when you agreed, you'd say I have served, I will be of service.
THE CONTINENTAL PROJECT
(Or I don't know, I haven't really come up with a good name)
The Continental is an autonomous assassin organization, which is disguised as a hotel chains spreading all over the world. It served as a neutral territory for hitmen and other criminals, so they usually stayed there seeking for safety. The Continental consisted of a manager who didn't go to the fields and kill people, the concierges who protected The Continental ground, and the members who were the assigned assassins. In the movie, The Continental's HQ was in New York and had branches in Rome and Casablanca.
This project will involve you as a crime organization member affiliated with The High Table, but you're free to create your own autonomous crime network. For instance, my character was a member of The Continental Seoul. You may be a member of The Continental according to your character's city (e.g. The Continental Tokyo, The Continental Jakarta) but you can also create your own crime organization network!
We will be all tied to each other because we belong in the same The Continental ground or because we all serve for The High Table.
Just one thing to bear in mind: nothing stands above the Table
BUT HEY, WHAT WOULD BE EXCITING IS...
[SPOILER ALERT] John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum ended with a scene that indicated that the characters would likely fight against The High Table, creating a revolutionary rebel movement or some sort. I think it will be cool if we make it our mission as well -- to turn the Table.
